Château d'Haurets blanc 2018

A powerful nose of eucalyptus blossom, orchard fruits, and bergamot; full-bodied, lively, and long on the palate. Well-crafted and energetic.

This beautiful 380-hectare estate is one of the largest in the Bordeaux appellation. It includes Château Larroque, located south of Langon on a beautiful clay-gravel terroir, with a classic blend of grape varieties (45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 25% Cabernet Franc), Château de Beauregard-Ducourt, located south of Targon, whose vineyard is evenly divided between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Châteaux La Rose du Pin and d’Haurets. The wines are of consistent quality and great classicism: powerful reds, highly aromatic, lively, and refreshing whites, and delicious rosés. A truly beautiful range full of character.

Subtle hints of Muscadelle and Sémillon complement the Sauvignon in this delicately fruity wine, whose very fresh palate gives way to notes of linden blossom and brioche on the finish.

In 1858, the Ducourt family settled at Ch. des Combes in Ladaux, a small village southeast of Bordeaux. Under the leadership of Henri Ducourt, who took over in 1951 and has since been succeeded by his children and grandchildren, the family vineyard flourished, growing to its current size of 450 hectares spread across thirteen châteaux in the Entre-deux-Mers and Saint-Émilion regions. The estate has been managed by Philippe Ducourt since 1980.

Lively and crisp, this wine is all about fruit. Its flavors of lemon and green plum are already delicious and refreshing, enhanced by the wine's tangy finish.
