Wine rated (2020 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Domaine rated (2020 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
Powerful nose of eucalyptus blossom, orchard fruit and bergamot, fleshy, invigorating and long on the palate. Well-made, energetic.
About the domain :
This beautiful 380-hectare estate is one of the largest in the Bordeaux appellation. It includes Château Larroque, located south of Langon on a fine clay-gravel terroir, with classic grape varieties (45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc), Château de Beauregard-Ducourt, located south of Targon, whose grape varieties are balanced between Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Châteaux La Rose du Pin and d'Haurets. The wines are of consistent quality and classicism. Powerful reds, highly aromatic, energetic and refreshing whites, delicious rosés. A truly fine range of character.

About the wine:
Micro-touches of muscadelle and semillon complement the sauvignon in this finely fruity wine, which finishes on a fresh note of lime blossom and brioche.
About the domain :
In 1858, the Ducourt family settled at Ch. des Combes, in Ladaux, a small village south-east of Bordeaux. It was under the impetus of Henri Ducourt, who settled there in 1951 and has since been succeeded by his children and grandchildren, that the family vineyard took off, and today covers 450 hectares spread over thirteen châteaux in the entre-deux-mers and saint-émilionnais regions. Philippe Ducourt has been at the helm since 1980.

About the wine:
Lively and clean, this wine is all fruit. Its lemon and green plum flavors are already delicious and refreshing, enhanced by the wine's tangy aftertaste.
