Wine rated (2020 guide) 14/20 (Good wine)
Rated estate (2020 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
A powerful nose of eucalyptus blossom, orchard fruits, and bergamot; full-bodied, lively, and long on the palate. Well-crafted and energetic.
About the estate:
This beautiful 380-hectare estate is one of the largest in the Bordeaux appellation. It includes Château Larroque, located south of Langon on a beautiful clay-gravel terroir, with a classic blend of grape varieties (45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 25% Cabernet Franc), Château de Beauregard-Ducourt, located south of Targon, with a balanced blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Château La Rose du Pin and Château d'Haurets. The wines are of consistent quality and great classicism. Powerful reds, very aromatic, lively, and refreshing whites, and delicious rosés. A truly beautiful range full of character.

Rated estate (2020 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the wine:
Subtle hints of Muscadelle and Sémillon complement the Sauvignon in this delicately fruity wine, whose very fresh palate gives way to notes of linden blossom and brioche on the finish.
About the estate:
In 1858, the Ducourt family settled at Château des Combes in Ladaux, a small village southeast of Bordeaux. It was under the leadership of Henri Ducourt, who took over in 1951 and was later succeeded by his children and grandchildren, that the family vineyard began to flourish, growing to its current size of 450 hectares spread across thirteen châteaux in the Entre-deux-Mers and Saint-Émilion regions. The estate has been managed by Philippe Ducourt since 1980.

About the wine:
Lively and crisp, this wine is bursting with fruit. Its notes of lemon and green plum are already delicious and refreshing, enhanced by the wine’s tangy finish.
