About the estate:
A vast 92-hectare vineyard in Entre-deux-Mers, founded in 1920 by the great-grandparents. Its assets: a very modern winery completed in 2016 and the complementary skills of Christophe Vincent (in the vineyards) and Fabien (in the winery). Saint Vincent is said to inspire them, but it is more likely their advanced technical training and high standards that make this estate a benchmark for Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur wines.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 11/16/2022
A bold, "modern" Bordeaux. Admittedly, it's not quite there yet. Nevertheless, the substance is there, full-bodied and thick, underpinned by rich, full-bodied tannins, imbued with ripe, delicious black fruits and just the right amount of acidity. The mid-palate is compote-like, fresh and strongly vanilla-flavored. There is a slight hint of Brett in the finish, but this is not really unpleasant, as is to be expected with a "natural" wine. Very good value for money. Enjoy at 17°C with two larded and roasted farmyard pigeons, served with peas and shallots in their juices. Rating: 3.5.
