Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (A well-crafted, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
A perfectionist, Stéphane Donze has set himself the demanding task of producing wines that far exceed the region’s usual standards. After purchasing the estate, he and his wife Lucie spent fifteen years closely studying and observing the layout of their vineyards. This thorough work—always carried out on the edge of risk—has enabled them to achieve perfect ripeness and great precision in their wines.
