Martinat Castle
Château Martinat is located in the commune of Lansac, in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg appellation , in the rolling countryside of the Bordeaux region, not far from the Gironde river. The latter has a definite influence on the mild climate and sunshine levels in this region. Château Martinat covers 10 hectares of unique terroir, characterized by veins of small gravel and red and brown clay, a valuable asset for the ripeness of the grapes and the density of the wines. The vines at Château Martinat are 40 years old on average, with Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%), and 10% Malbec (a historic grape variety).

The vineyard at Château Martinat is still managed manually and naturally: debudding, leaf removal, green harvesting, and manual harvesting. This work is carried out with care in order to create a quality vintage every year.
