Dalem Castle
Château Dalem, from its beautiful 18th-century estate in the Libourne region, overlooks the Isle Valley in Saillans, within the Fronsac appellation. Surrounded by its vineyards, this family-owned estate—which has been in the family for three centuries—was passed down to Michel Rullier in 1955. He introduced technical changes to modernize the wines of Château Dalem. Today, his daughter, Brigitte Rullier-Loussert, manages this beautiful Bordeaux estate and its 15 hectares of vineyards, planted primarily with Merlot (90%) and supplemented with Cabernet Franc. She has left her mark on the vineyards through sustainable viticulture, on the winemaking process through innovative methods, and by expanding the estate’s international market presence.
