Château Fonréaud

Built in the 17th century on the high gravel terraces of the Médoc. It was in 1962 that Léo Chanfreau discovered this property, which had been virtually abandoned and had only a few rows of vines remaining. The family then replanted the vines, built new concrete vats, and undertook extensive renovations on the building to restore the estate to its former glory. Today, Léo Chanfreau’s grandchildren continue to enhance the property.
