Although the wine shows signs of aging in oak, it highlights smooth black fruit and ripe tannins. It will develop into a richly structured wine with good aging potential.

Deep purple. Lovely fresh and spicy aromas of red and black fruits, with a subtle hint of cedar and a touch of oak sweetness. The wine is supple on the palate, even though the tannins are firm. The finish is smooth but not harsh. It needs a little time, but all the components are there, even if they haven’t quite come together yet. The finish is smooth with a chocolatey texture, and the oak is quite dominant at the very end.

A full-bodied, structured wine with a slightly vegetal character, fresh and crisp.

A complex, multifaceted bouquet with aromas of roasted notes, spices, and fruity hints. An inviting character. Gradually, the fruitiness comes to the fore. The palate opens with a salty, slightly creamy character. The wine has a fresh structure that lends it elegance, along with well-integrated tannins. There is a beautiful balance among the various elements. The wine still needs time to fully develop, so it will benefit from further aging in the cellar.

The nose is refined, precise, and offers a touch of intensity. It reveals notes of crisp blackberry, crisp wild red berries, and, more subtly, lily, combined with delicate hints of Cuben pepper, spices, and a very subtle hint of tea. The palate is fruity, balanced, and offers minerality, freshness, and good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy, crisp blackcurrant and juicy, crisp raspberry, along with more subtle hints of small red berries, combined with touches of violet, blueberry, and licorice root. The tannins are well-integrated. Good length.
