"A powerful, accomplished, and ambitious wine!"

"The nose is subtle, with hints of graphite and chalk. The attack is lively and fresh, with blackcurrant dominating the aromas. The tannins then tighten up, lingering on the palate before finishing with a salty note. This is a wine designed for finesse." (Terre de Vins 2021)

About wine:

This beautiful estate located at the western end of the Margaux appellation has produced a ripe and supple wine. Black fruits, oak, and ripe tannins give it a generous feel. The wine will be ready to drink from 2026.

Blackcurrant, mushrooms, bark, and black cherries. A hint of tar. Full-bodied with juicy, chewy tannins and a long, flavorful finish. A solid red for the vintage. Best after 2025.

Wine rated (2022 guide) 93/100

About wine:

Château d'Arsac stands out for its linear character, its ability to demonstrate its high quality from the very first seconds and to maintain this level right through to the finish... and beyond! Although it enters the scene on tiptoe, the wine quickly sets the tone, asserting its youthfulness with a hint of reduction, but also demonstrating its quality through its diversity. Yes, reduction is one of the fundamental rights of wine! Well supported by serene, powerful, and smooth tannins, the wine emphasizes its freshness and its ability to defy the times to come. Now, we must leave it alone, it wants to rest! 2026-2045

Wine Green

Vert de Vin

Wine rated (2021 guide) 91/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About wine:

The nose is aromatic, discreetly tight, precise, and offers deliciousness and a certain intensity. There are notes of ripe blackcurrant, violet, lily, and, more subtly, sweet blond tobacco, combined with hints of pulpy berries, strawberry, and subtle touches of graphite, a discreet hint of pepper (in the background), and vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers deliciousness, a certain richness, a little juiciness, as well as minerality and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy wild blackcurrant and, more subtly, juicy/fresh red berries, combined with hints of racy minerality, delicate hints of fresh flowers and a subtle hint of cardamom. Good length.
