The nose is aromatic, subtly restrained, and precise, offering a rich, indulgent character and a certain intensity. It reveals notes of ripe blackcurrant, violet, and lily, along with lighter hints of sweet blond tobacco, combined with touches of juicy berries and strawberry, as well as subtle hints of graphite, a subtle hint of pepper (in the background), and vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced, and offers a rich, indulgent character, a certain richness, a touch of juiciness, as well as minerality and tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy wild blackcurrant, and, more subtly, juicy/fresh red berries, combined with hints of racy minerality, delicate notes of fresh wildflowers, and a subtle hint of cardamom. Good length.
