Château Boyd Cantenac
Château Boyd-Cantenac has been owned by the Guillemet family since 1932. Covering an area of 17 hectares in the heart of the Margaux appellation, on poor, well-drained siliceous gravel soils from the Quaternary period—which provide warm conditions and allow the vines to develop deep roots—the vineyard produces, depending on the vintage, between 50,000 and 90,000 bottles per year.
Château Boyd-Cantenac benefits from the best techniques in viticulture and winemaking. The vineyards are managed using sustainable practices inspired by organic farming, prohibiting any chemical intervention; harvesting (by hand), winemaking, and aging are carried out plot by plot. The various lots are tasted several times.
The wines of Château Boyd-Cantenac captivate with their subtlety, elegance, and suppleness.
