Château Brane-Cantenac
Château Brane-Cantenac has been owned by the Lurton family since 1925. Château Brane-Cantenac owes its reputation to an exceptional terroir of deep Quaternary gravel. Since 1992, Henri Lurton has made it his mission to produce the best possible wine each year to reinforce its status as a Second Growth classified in 1855, while remaining faithful to its terroir and its exacting standards.

Château Brane-Cantenac has built its legend on an 80-hectare vineyard spread across several plots. One of them, the largest, lies in front of the château and rests on the appellation’s finest gravel ridge. It demands a strenuous effort from the vines, compelling their roots to reach deep into the soil for nourishment.

A spacious fermentation cellar, modern winemaking techniques, and a talented team combine to create a distinguished, aromatic wine that is complex, balanced, and well-suited for aging.
