Château Brane-Cantenac
Château Brane-Cantenac has been owned by the Lurton family since 1925. Château Brane-Cantenac owes its reputation to an exceptional terroir of deep Quaternary gravel. Since 1992, Henri Lurton has made it his mission to make the best possible wine every year, in order to consolidate his position as second grand cru classé in 1855, while remaining faithful to his terroir and its demands.

Château Brane-Cantenac has built its legend on an 80-hectare vineyard spread over several parcels. One of these, the largest, lies in front of the château on the finest gravelly hillside in the appellation. The vines have to work hard here, digging deep into their roots to find nourishment.

A spacious vat room, modern winemaking techniques and a talented team all contribute to creating a racy, aromatic wine that is complex, well-balanced and ideal for laying down.
