Château Brane-Cantenac
Château Brane-Cantenac has been owned by the Lurton family since 1925. Château Brane-Cantenac owes its reputation to an exceptional terroir of deep Quaternary gravel. Since 1992, Henri Lurton has made it his mission to produce the best possible wine each year to reinforce its status as a Second Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, while remaining true to its terroir and its high standards.

Château Brane-Cantenac has built its legend on an 80-hectare vineyard spread across several plots. One of these, the largest, lies in front of the château and rests on the appellation’s most beautiful gravel ridge. It demands great effort from the vines, forcing their roots to reach deep into the soil to find nourishment.

A spacious fermentation cellar, modern winemaking techniques, and a talented team all contribute to creating a refined, aromatic wine that is complex, well-balanced, and has excellent aging potential.
