Château Haut-Bages Monpelou, located in the Pauillac appellation, is one of the 10 wine estates owned by the Castéja family of Bordeaux. Formerly part of Château Duhart-Milon, Château Haut-Bages Monpelou is now managed as an independent estate by the team at Château Batailley, a 5th Growth.
Situated on a magnificent terroir of Garonne gravel, the 15-hectare estate produces wines typical of the Pauillac AOC: concentrated, full-bodied, and oaky. A Cru Bourgeois of the Médoc across several vintages, Château Haut-Bages Monpeloufeatures a classic blend of Bordeaux Left Bank wines, dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon and complemented by Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
A multiple award winner among critics, Château Haut-Bages Monpelou is considered a Gem Médoc. It offers excellent value for money with beautiful typicity and great aging potential.
