"An excellent wine with great potential for tasting and long-term aging!"

"With its magnificent purple hue, this wine invites you on a journey. Its seductive bouquet offers captivating aromas of candied cherry and cedar. Full on the attack, it then reveals a sapid palate with very fine tannins and flavors of citrus, stone fruit, and black pepper, very racy, concluding with a very long, salty finish. A refined but distinctive character. Long aging potential assured." (Terre de Vins 2020) - Delivery in wooden cases is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2022 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

A new, ultra-modern, luxurious, and efficient winery reflects the ambitions of the new owner, Jacky Lorenzetti. He clearly wants to produce one of the best wines in his appellation and has acquired some very high-quality terroirs near Mouton-Rothschild, which should help him achieve his goal. The technically brilliant wines are improving with each new vintage.

Decanter

Decanter

Wine rated (2022 guide) 94/100

About wine:

Aromas of smoky blackcurrant, cherries, and fragrant plums. Floral, open, and generous in terms of aromas and flavors on the palate, with delicious juiciness and overall liveliness. This wine has a tight backbone with a vein of spice and minerality, as well as a firm tannic structure that places you squarely in Pauillac—you can taste the salty stones of the terroir. An excellent wine with great potential for great tasting and long aging. First official vintage in organic conversion. 2% Petit Verdot completes the blend. 2026–2043

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

Françoise and Jacky Lorenzetti sold their real estate agency network (Foncia) and bought this château in 2009 from the Jugla family. They undertook major work on the vineyard and cellar (construction of a new winery by Jean-Michel Wilmotte) to restore the reputation of this estate, founded in 1810, whose vineyard now covers around 50 hectares following the acquisition of new plots.

Wine rated (2020 guide) 94-96/100

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

Over the years, the vintage has become more refined, and this 2019 has resulted in a wine with a very fine texture. Very pure, with a brilliant expression of fruit, it draws its strength from a very sapid and juicy finish.

About the estate:

This is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular improvements achieved in Bordeaux in recent years. Pédesclaux, acquired by Jacky Lorenzetti in 2009, has undergone a complete facelift, from the vineyard to the cellars, which is both spectacular and cutting-edge. Under the leadership of Vincent Bache-Gabrielsen, the wines have improved steadily, vintage after vintage, little by little. They are now fully worthy of their classification and, above all, offer remarkable value for money.

About wine:

This wine is truly floral and magnificent, with aromas of lavender, lilac, and blackcurrant that linger on the palate, which is medium-bodied to full-bodied, with firm, creamy tannins and a savory finish. It is very elegant, refined, and structured. Linear. Best after 2024.

Le Figaro wines

Le Figaro vins

Wine rated (2022 guide) 94/100

About wine:

A nose of pure red fruits and strawberry jam, with sensual and intoxicating notes of tuberose, combined with mineral aromas. On the palate, the subtle energy of biodynamics comes through. Notes of black fruits, picked at peak ripeness, generous and fresh, evolve into more cocoa-like notes of dark chocolate and kirsch-soaked cherries.

Terre de Vins

Wine rated (2020 guide) 96/100

About wine:

With its purple rim, its magnificent color invites you on a journey. Its seductive bouquet is confirmed by the captivating aromas of candied cherry and cedar. Full on the attack, then a sapid palate with very fine tannins, flavors of citrus, stone fruit, and black pepper, very racy, concluding with a very long, salty finish. A refined but distinctive character. Long aging potential assured.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 94/100

About wine:

An intense, fresh bouquet marked by spicy and fruity nuances. Inviting and refreshing notes of blackcurrant, raspberry, and gingerbread. On the palate, the wine confirms the freshness of the nose. It displays vigor and is endowed with fine, powerful tannins that slowly reveal themselves along the palate. Fruity finish. A wine that shines with its power, finesse, and relevance. It just needs to channel its energy... which it will be able to do during its time in the cellar! 2026-2049

Wine Green

Vert de Vin

Wine rated (2020 guide) 94-95/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)

About wine:

The nose is fruity, structured, racy, and offers a fine straightforwardness. There are notes of blackberry, ripe blackcurrant and, more subtly, wild raspberry, combined with hints of strawberry, morello cherry and licorice, as well as a subtle touch of blueberry, violet and very discreet hints of tonka bean, cardamom and vanilla/toasted notes. The palate is fruity, racy and offers deliciousness, juiciness, precision and a fine texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackcurrant, strawberry and, more subtly, juicy plum, combined with hints of juicy/pulpy raspberry, violet and very subtle hints of cocoa, nutmeg and vanilla. Good length.
