Aromas of smoky blackcurrant, cherries, and fragrant plums. Floral, open, and generous in terms of aromas and flavors on the palate, with delicious juiciness and overall liveliness. This wine has a tight backbone with a vein of spice and minerality, as well as a firm tannic structure that places you squarely in Pauillac—you can taste the salty stones of the terroir. An excellent wine with great potential for great tasting and long aging. First official vintage in organic conversion. 2% Petit Verdot completes the blend. 2026–2043

Françoise and Jacky Lorenzetti sold their real estate agency network (Foncia) and bought this château in 2009 from the Jugla family. They undertook major work on the vineyard and cellar (construction of a new winery by Jean-Michel Wilmotte) to restore the reputation of this estate, founded in 1810, whose vineyard now covers around 50 hectares following the acquisition of new plots.

The palate is fruity, racy and offers deliciousness, juiciness, precision and a fine texture. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of blackcurrant, strawberry and, more subtly, juicy plum, combined with hints of juicy/pulpy raspberry, violet and very subtle hints of cocoa, nutmeg and vanilla.
