Château Mazeyres

Château Mazeyres is a Directoire manor house surrounded by 25.5 hectares of vines located in the heart of Libourne, on the western and southern terraces of the Pomerol appellation.

The estate's vineyard is planted with 73.1% Merlot, 24.3% Cabernet Franc and 2.6% Petit Verdot, and is rich in different terroirs. The western part of the appellation is composed of fine clayey gravel, while the southern part is composed of clayey sand and the eastern part, at the foot of the plateau, of sandy-gravelly clay.

True precursors of organic farming, obtaining their certification in 2015, their vines have also been cultivated biodynamically since 2012 and certified since 2018. Under the watchful eye of renowned consultant Alain Moueix, biodynamic viticulture takes on its full meaning, giving birth to wines vinified with the utmost respect for the environment and listening to nature.
