"Deep purple color. Very expressive nose of black fruits with additional woody and mineral notes. On the palate, a very distinguished wine with finely structured tannins. The fruit expresses itself with an already interesting length. A Saint-Julien with a promising future. " (Le Guide des Vins Gilbert & Gaillard 2015) Delivery in wooden cases for orders of 12 bottles of this wine.

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2022 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Located opposite Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in Saint-Julien, this estate is now managed by Ludovic and Julien Meffre. The family also owns Château Lalande and Château Bellegrave in Pauillac. The wines produced here are elegant and beautifully balanced. They perfectly embody the ideal of a Saint-Julien wine.
Decanter
Wine rated 15.5/20
About wine:
Dense color, beautifully extracted fruit. Elegant.
Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated (2015 guide) 87/100 (Very good wine)
About wine:
Silky, round, and juicy with a clean fruitiness, this pleasant wine should be drunk within the next 7-8 years. It has a dark ruby/purple color and clearly avoids the astringency of tannins that this vintage can offer, especially for Cabernet-based Médoc wines.
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
Originally part of the Château Saint-Pierre estate, from which it was historically separated, Château du Glana covered just 4 hectares at the end of the 1950s. It owes its growth to Gabriel Meffre, a nurseryman from Vaucluse who acquired it in 1961 and gradually expanded its area to over 40 hectares. Today, his grandchildren, Ludovic and Julien, run the estate, which has benefited over the last ten years from a complete upgrade of its facilities and a revamp of the vineyard. The wines are now up to standard: they are charming and supple Saint-Julien wines, endowed with a beautiful elegance.
