Gloria Castle
Château Gloria boasts vineyards spread across three areas: in the heart of Beychevelle, and to the west and north of the Saint-Julien appellation.

Grown on Günzian gravel soils with a subsoil of sandy-clay gravel, Château Gloria ranks among the finest wines of the Saint-Julien appellation. The grape blend is very classic, comprising 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. Château Gloria was, in fact, one of the first to believe in Petit Verdot, a very fine grape variety likely cultivated in the Médoc long before Cabernet Sauvignon. A grape variety that brings color to the blends as well as added aromatic, tannic, and alcoholic richness.

The vines at Château Gloria range in age from 80 years to 30 years, with an average vine age of around 45 years. The vineyard at Château Gloria is in a remarkable location and is meticulously maintained. Its yield per hectare averages 45 hectoliters, with a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare.

A combination of rigorous characteristics goes into producing Château Gloria wine in the Saint-Julien AOC, a wine whose quality stands out within the appellation.
