Gloria Castle
Château Gloria benefits from a vineyard spread across three areas, in the center of Beychevelle, to the west and north of the Saint-Julien appellation.

On Günzian gravel terroirs, Château Gloria is one of the best in the Saint-Julien appellation, with a subsoil of clay-sand gravel. The grape varieties are very classic, with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot. Château Gloria was one of the first to believe in Petit Verdot, a very good grape variety that was probably cultivated in the Médoc long before Cabernet Sauvignon. This grape variety brings color to the blends, as well as additional aromatic richness, tannins, and alcohol.

The vines at Château Gloria are 80 years old, with others aged 30 years, giving an average vine age of around 45 years. The location of Château Gloria's vineyard is remarkable and carefully maintained. Its yield per hectare averages 45 hectoliters for a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare.

A set of rigorous characteristics to produce a Château Gloria wine in the Saint-Julien AOC that imposes its quality within the appellation.
