“The quality continues to rise, and this wine will easily hold its own in a blind tasting. It’s one to watch closely! ~ Jeb Dunnuck”
“Gloria’s bouquet combines spices, fruit, and minerality—elements that come together from the very first whiff. Inviting notes of blackberries and blackcurrants are complemented by a touch of mint and black pepper. Creamy on the palate, the wine displays a linear and full-bodied character. It is supported by well-integrated tannins that ensure power and serenity, while the acidity works subtly in the background. A savory and harmonious wine that can be enjoyed young, but which has respectable aging potential. ” (Yves Beck 2026)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2021 guide): 3 stars (High-quality production, setting the standard in its sector)
About the estate:
Superbly situated in the commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle and surrounded by noble peers, Château Gloria is now owned by Jean-Louis Triaud and his wife, the daughter of Henri Martin, its “founder” (just like Château Saint-Pierre). This estate has now fully regained its former glory. Gloria’s wines feature pure fruit and a supple structure, with exceptionally refined tannins. They are true classics of the appellation.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2021 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
This estate, which today spans 50 hectares, was built from the ground up starting in 1942 by one of the region’s leading figures, Henri Martin, who for years purchased plots from classified growths in the heart of Beychevelle, as well as to the west and north of the appellation. His daughter Françoise and her husband Jean-Louis Triaud, who managed Gloria and the entire Domaines Martin estate, handed over the reins of their properties to their son Jean in 2016.

Rated estate (2021 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Patiently assembled, plot by plot, in the second half of the 20th century by Henri Martin, Gloria is one of the leading names among the unclassified wines of the Médoc. This reputation is well-deserved, as evidenced by the latest vintages. Always full-bodied, colorful, and concentrated, the wine has rarely disappointed over the past decade. It ages harmoniously, but those in a hurry can enjoy it as early as five years after bottling.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 94-95/100
About the wine:
A full-bodied, structured, and textured red wine that reveals aromas of cherry and baking spices on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied, with lively tannins. Lively on the palate, followed by a savory, lively, and lingering finish.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93-95/100
About the wine:
With an intense purple color, Château Gloria 2025 reveals aromas of blackcurrant, a medley of red and blue berries, violet, and refined oak. Composed of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot, and 4% Cabernet Franc, and aged 50% in new oak barrels, it is pure and incredibly refined on the palate, with medium-bodied to full-bodied richness, a silky and elegant texture, and a beautiful finish. Its alcohol content is 13.2%. As I have written before, the quality of this estate continues to rise, and this wine will have no trouble holding its own in a blind tasting against some of the best wines. This château deserves to be closely watched by everyone.
