"It's a delicious, ready-to-drink wine with round fruit. ~ La RVF "
"Fruity and of good intensity, the bouquet of Connétable Talbot displays depth and precision. The latter is also underlined on the palate and acts as a common thread. The tannins are creamy and velvety, providing excellent support and freshness. A sapid wine that can be enjoyed young". (Yves Beck 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 4*Stars (Top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)
About the domain :
One of the Médoc's most justly popular estates, it is still owned by the Cordier family. It gives rise to an abundant production, which has gained in definition since 2014. For many, Talbot embodies the ideal saint-julien, generously bouqueted, very stable and sure to age. A lovely dry white wine, aromatic and nervous, continues to be produced under the caillou-blanc brand. The intelligent work carried out with the help of Stéphane Derenoncourt in a skilfully modernized vat room and cellar is bearing fruit.

About the wine:
Bright strawberries and fresh cherries: this wine explodes on the palate with aromas of freshly picked summer berries and the high, almost citric acidity that gives it its vibrant character. Energy and vivacity are the order of the day, rather than power and strength. A really pleasant, easy-drinking wine, with well-integrated tannins and gorgeous salty notes in the background. I also like the fresh mint notes. 2026-2040

Wine rated (2026 guide) 91/100
Domaine rated (guide 2022) 2*Stars (These great estates, often endowed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, must be included in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the wine:
Connétable assumes its canaille and friand side, a delicious, ready-to-drink wine on the burst of its round fruit.
About the domain :
This strong brand, rightly appreciated by connoisseurs, has made a strong comeback, now making the wines we've come to expect from it. Equipped with modern, high-performance equipment and skilfully managed, Nancy Bignon-Cordier's vast vineyard, managed by Jean-Michel Laporte, is returning to the glory of its past, producing wines that are more subtle and refined than ever. A flamboyant wine, archetypal of the great classic Saint Julien.

Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2025 guide) 92/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About the wine:
The nose is racy, mineral and juicy. It reveals notes of fresh cherry, luscious violet plum and, more discreetly, cherry blossom, combined with hints of pepper, rose, and hints of fresh blond tobacco and star anise. The palate is fruity, juicy and suave, with a mineral and acidic structure, pulpiness, brilliance, gourmandise and a lovely silkiness and purity of fruit. It expresses notes of bright cherry, pulpy/shiny blackcurrant and, more lightly, bright raspberry, combined with hints of star anise, cherry blossom, and hints of licorice stick and chocolate. Good length, with a hint of chocolate. Fresh, tasty tannins.
