Domaine Christophe Buisson

The Christophe Buisson Estate comprises 7 hectares of vineyards, 3 of which are located in the commune of Saint-Romain. The owner’s motto is: “To produce a fine wine, you need high-quality grapes and meticulous work both in the vineyard and in the cellar.” This philosophy took root in Christophe Buisson very early on, with the ultimate goal of transitioning to organic farming. In 2009, the estate began its transition to organic farming, and 2012 marked its first Ecocert-certified vintage.

This commitment to quality drives an uncompromising approach: in the spring, plowing begins and continues through late July; only AB-certified treatments are used; the 7 hectares are harvested by hand with a team of 20 people; and winemaking is carried out with meticulous care. Christophe Buisson produces only 50,000 bottles per year, much to the delight of all wine lovers.
