Domaine Christophe Buisson

The Domaine Christophe Buisson comprises 7 hectares of vineyards, 3 of which are located in the town of Saint-Romain. The owner’s motto is: “To produce a good wine, you need high-quality grapes and meticulous work both in the vineyard and in the cellar.” Christophe Buisson embraced this philosophy early on, with the ultimate goal of transitioning to organic farming. In 2009, the estate began its transition to organic farming, and 2012 marked its first Ecocert-certified vintage.

This commitment to quality drives him to work without compromise: in the spring, plowing begins and continues through the end of July; only AB-certified treatments are used; the 7 hectares are harvested by hand with a team of 20 people; and winemaking is carried out with meticulous care. Christophe Buisson produces only 50,000 bottles per year, much to the delight of wine lovers everywhere.
