Domaine du Clos Salomon

The Domaine du Clos Salomon vineyard is divided into three plots: the "Clos Salomon," a Givry 1er Cru covering nearly 7 hectares; the "Grande Berge," a 0.4-hectare Givry 1er Cru plot planted with Chardonnay; and 2 hectares of Montagny "Le Clou."

Ludovic du Gardin, owner of Domaine du Clos Salomon, believes that the quality of the wine stems above all from a sustainable viticultural approach. Consequently, yields are assessed based on the load of each individual vine rather than on the plot as a whole, to ensure uniform ripeness of the grapes at harvest.
