Following in the footsteps of her distinguished father, the brilliant and dynamic Stéphanie Colinot crafts Pinot Noir like no one else in the Yonne region; she is able to imbue it with an inimitable color and intensity of fruit, as well as excellent aging potential. Les Mazelots—notably the blend of Pinot Noir and César—produces a fuller-bodied wine. Côte du Moutier is the most aromatic, while the Palotte is the most supple and fruity. The overall value for money, as well as the warm welcome at the estate, deserve special mention. The estate is closer to a second star than a first.
