Chapel House
Delphine and Grégory Viennois, two natives of Burgundy, are returning to their roots with the creation of their wine merchant business,La Maison de la Chapelle. These two wine enthusiasts are embarking on their adventure with their very first vintage in 2014. Delphine, who comes from a family of winegrowers, has always had close ties with the great Burgundy houses. As for Grégory, an oenologist, he trained with some of Burgundy's biggest names, such as Domaine J. Prieur, Domaine de l'Arlot, and others such as Smith-Haut Lafitte, M. Chapoutier, Ferraton Père & Fils, and Stéphane Derenoncourt. Now back in Burgundy, at the head of his own business, he is also technical director at Domaine Laroche in Chablis and consultant at Quinta Do Monte d'Oiro in Portugal.

Located in the Irancy appellation, Maison de La Chapelle produces single-vineyard wines to highlight the concept of "climat" specific to Burgundy. The young winery produces only red wines, using the Pinot Noir grape variety, in keeping with Burgundian expertise and tradition. A promising winery that is already bringing prestige to this appellation, which is still relatively unknown but has a promising future among Burgundy wines.
