Château d'Etroyes - Mercurey Les Velley 1er Cru 2015 (Magnum)
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
This 2015 vintage comes from young vines harvested by hand in early September, destemmed and macerated for a fortnight. With its majestic ruby color, it combines red fruit (cherry and raspberry) on the nose with peppery notes, nuanced with vanilla, licorice, and menthol. The harmony is already there on the palate: rich, full-bodied and generous, it is carried by silky tannins and a lingering finish. Concentration and the nobility of the terroir characterize this bottle, which is made for aging." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2019)
