“A Premier Cru from the appellation offering a full-bodied palate and a complex array of aromas: gourmet and delicious!”
The Montagny Premier Cru from Les Vignerons de Buxy offers aromas blending juicy yellow fruits and fresh hazelnuts, which carry over into a creamy, velvety palate, unfolding into a lovely mineral freshness that extends the subtly hazelnutty finish. Already delicious with poultry or fish in sauce!

Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
The Vignerons de Buxy cooperative, founded in 1931, currently has 342 members representing 1,164 hectares in the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais regions and produces 75% of the wines from the Montagny appellation. The consolidation of numerous small family-run vineyards has enabled the creation of an efficient production facility committed to a genuine quality-driven approach to winemaking and production (Vignerons en Développement Durable). All of the wines presented in our blind tastings are of very respectable quality, demonstrating that the wine cooperative in the Côte Chalonnaise is active and capable of promoting its appellations. The value for money is extremely attractive for Burgundy.
