Domaine G. Saumaize

It's in this place of history and surprising terroirs that the wines express their full character.The G.Saumaize vineyard covers 14.5 hectares and extends over 4 communes (Prissé, Solutré, Vergisson and Davayé) with no fewer than 30 parcels. 

This diversity of plots gives the domaine and its wines their distinctive style. The vines produce 6 appellations in Chardonnay and Pinot Noir: Mâcon Davayé, Mâcon Vergisson, Saint-Véran, Pouilly Fuissé, Bourgogne Rouge and Crémant de Bourgogne. 

Since 2018, Domaine G. Saumaize has been given a new lease of life with the arrival of Guillaume, Guy and Annie's son, at the domaine. Domaine des Maillettes thus becomes Domaine G. Saumaize.
