G. Saumaize Estate
The G. Saumaize estate is a family-run winery located in southern Burgundy, at the foot of the Solutré rock formation in the Mâconnais region.
It is in this region, rich in history and full of surprising terroirs, that the wines truly come into their own.

The G. Saumaize vineyard covers 14.5 hectares and spans four municipalities (Prissé, Solutré, Vergisson, and Davayé), comprising no fewer than 30 plots.
This diversity of vineyards defines the estate’s style and that of its wines. The vineyards produce six appellations of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir: Mâcon Davayé, Mâcon Vergisson, Saint-Véran, Pouilly-Fuissé, Bourgogne Rouge, and Crémant de Bourgogne.

Since 2018, the G. Saumaize estate has been revitalized with the arrival of Guillaume, the son of Guy and Annie, at the estate. As a result, the Maillettes estate has become the G. Saumaize estate.
