"A profusion of ripe, sweet citrus fruits blended with notes of almond milk and hazelnut, according to Jancis Robinson!"

“A fresh and lively white wine with aromas of sliced apples, lemon, and mineral notes. Medium-bodied, lively, and vibrant. A lovely liveliness for this appellation. Delicious right now.” (James Suckling 2025)

Rated Estate (2022 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often boasting fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that—thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines—deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the estate:

This winery is now led by Frédéric Drouhin, supported by his sister Véronique for the wines and his brother Philippe in the vineyards. In July 2013, it opened a wine bar in the heart of Beaune. It has found its stride and is establishing itself as a sure bet. The estate draws on a biodynamic vineyard that is particularly well-stocked with great white wines, both in the Côte-de-Beaune and in Chablis (wines sold under the Drouhin-Vaudon label), including the famous Clos des Mouches.

About the wine:

Already very expressive. A profusion of ripe, sweet citrus fruits, intertwined with notes of white flowers. A crisp, light acidity. A subtle flavor of almond milk and white hazelnut. Already delicious and easy to drink.
