About the estate:
André Charbaut purchased and planted the first vines—which are still lovingly tended by his grandson—and launched his champagne in 1936. His two sons, including Guy, expanded the estate and established the brand. With Xavier, the third generation joined the business in 1996 and took over its management in 2010. The vineyard covers nearly 20 hectares spread across several communes, most of which are classified as 1er cru. The estate is HVE-certified.
