Decanter
The nose of this 2010 Millésime Brut is intense, offering notes of ripe peach, quince, and toast, followed by hints of coffee and vanilla after a bit of aeration. On the palate, the attack is supple, with richness and structure in full force; it offers a lovely sense of fullness and perfect balance, leading to a lingering finish with notes of hazelnut. Enjoy it with poultry and truffle-infused mashed potatoes...

About the estate:
André Charbaut purchased and planted the first vines—which are still carefully tended by his grandson—and launched his champagne in 1936. His two sons, including Guy, expanded the estate and established the brand. With Xavier, the third generation joined the business in 1996 and took the reins in 2010. The vineyard covers nearly 20 hectares spread across several municipalities, most of which are classified as 1er cru. The estate is HVE-certified.
