Henriot Champagne
The Henriot Champagne House was founded in 1808 by Appoline Godinot, widow of Henriot, an entrepreneur and woman of strong character who was already marketing her wines both in France and abroad. Today, this venerable Champagne House is led by Thomas Henriot, who is passionately committed to preserving a very distinctive style. The House owns its own vineyards located on the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, and supplements its supply from winemakers who have been loyal partners for many generations and who adhere to strict specifications in selecting the finest grapes. The entire Henriot Champagne vineyard is cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices, without herbicides or fertilizers.

The quality of the cuvées and a commitment to perfection are two of the House’s core values. Knowledge of the terroirs and the family’s expertise in blending make Henriot Champagnes instantly recognizable.

Brut Souverain champagne comes from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. Henriot's Brut Souverain champagne is made from:

50% Chardonnay, which adds a refreshing touch,
50% Pinot Noir for fruitiness.
A selection of wines.

No fewer than 25 vintages go into the blend of this prestigious cuvée. The Brut Souverain champagne is highly regarded by critics both internationally and in France.

The tasting

To the eye, you’ll notice an abundance of fine bubbles, a crystal-clear straw-yellow color, and a beautiful effervescence. On the nose, you’ll discover the full floral character of this cuvée, with citrus notes that give way to rich, brioche-like aromas. On the palate, Henriot’s Brut Souverain offers a fresh, lively attack, with a refined texture and a finish that lingers for several seconds. Enjoy this true delight.

Food and wine pairings

Henriot's Brut Souverain champagne is perfect as an aperitif, and its elegance makes it an excellent choice to accompany an entire meal. Champagne is a vast region with many distinct subregions, resulting in a wide variety of possible styles in its wines. The Henriot family has always maintained a balance between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in their blends. What makes this wine so special is the use of exceptional terroirs.

So, it’s not just about Grand Crus or Premier Crus—it’s also about iconic terroirs. All these factors give the wines their aging potential and organoleptic qualities. So for family dinners, don’t hesitate to treat yourself to a magnificent Henriot champagne.

A refined taste

The Brut Souverain derives its character from a blend of prestigious grapes, including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims. Two-thirds of the vineyards are classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru. The wine boasts a beautiful golden color with lovely grayish highlights. The nose is richly aromatic (brioche, pastry, buttery). The palate is very smooth and flavorful. The rich notes detected on the nose are present here, complemented by various fruits: elderberry and blackcurrant buds. In addition to serving it as an aperitif, you can also enjoy it as a dessert wine. For a unique pairing, try it with cream-braised chicken served with porcini mushrooms. For optimal enjoyment, serve it chilled.

Henriot Champagne: a symbol of precision and balance

Maison Henriot is renowned for its refined, smooth, and elegant champagnes. As smooth as ever, they owe their success to the blossoming and strong reputation of both reserve and base wines. With carefully balanced dosages for natural, well-integrated champagnes, Henriot’s Brut Souverain boasts a refined character and remarkable smoothness. This philosophy is also reflected in the consistency of its portfolio.

Tasting this treasure evokes an unparalleled sense of emotion. It offers truly excellent value for money. The house operates aging cellars in Reims and draws on historic reserves from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.
