"The brand's timeless signature, a model of balance and precision."
"Palmer takes the crown once again! Every element is perfectly balanced, down to the millimeter. First, there is the delicate nose, combining mirabelle plum, lime blossom, and lychee. A fragrance of rare preciousness! Then comes the tangy palate, evoking orange, pear, toast, hazelnut and currant, before ending masterfully with a slightly licorice-like bitterness. The icing on the cake is achieving such a beautiful length without ever becoming heavy, maintaining instead a great deal of elegance." (Terre de Vins)

Bettane & Desseauve
4-star estate (Producers of very high quality, the pride of French vineyards)
About the estate:
This beautiful cellar with ultra-modern facilities on the outskirts of Reims operates with the rigor and seriousness of a traditional house, which is reflected in the care taken with the range. The supplies are marked by the northern sectors of the Montagne de Reims, which is reflected in the integrity of the cuvées, from the successful blanc de blancs to the Solera rosé, made from an original solera of red wine, which gives it an inimitable character. The vintages age to perfection here and are put back on the market after a few more years in the cellar.

About wine:
A typical cuvée from the Montagne de Reims, but also, interestingly, a cuvée that includes a small majority of Chardonnay in the blend. More than 35% reserve wines, combined with four years of aging, ensure that this cuvée is truly impressive. The presence of yeast and the volume on the palate cannot hide an almost floral elegance, with subtle notes of hazelnut and brioche completing the picture.

About the estate:
Champagne Palmer & Co is an offshoot of the Société Coopérative des Grands Crus de la Champagne, established in Avize in 1947. The Palmer & Co brand was created the following year in 1948. The founders were seven winegrowers who owned vineyards in the premier and grand cru areas of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. The cooperative moved to Reims in 1959 and began to expand into other vineyards such as Sézanne and the Riceys region. As a result, the symbolic milestone of one million bottles of champagne was reached in the 1980s.

About wine:
The NV Brut Reserve is a blend of 57% Chardonnay, 24% Pinot Meunier, and 19% Pinot Noir, based on the 2016 vintage with 34% reserve wines. Soft notes of cornmeal and corn leaves give it a subtle nose. The body is bright, lively, and fresh. This wine is not complex, but it is not simple either. An image of sobriety with a lively and creamy finish. The dosage is 6.9 g/L. Disgorged: January 2022.

About wine:
An interesting nose of caramelized pear, mirabelle plum tart, and coffee beans, followed by an abundance of red fruit that accentuates the whole in a rather rich and creamy palate. Long and very harmonious finish. Ready to drink now.
