Cousiño Macul - Old Reserves 2014

Cousiño Macul - Antiguas Reservas 2014

89/100

Robert Parker

(Notes from the 2013 vintage)

Unlike the classic Chardonnay cuvée, Antiguas Reservas is partially fermented in new barrels and aged in the same barrels for six months. The rest of the harvest is vinified and aged in stainless steel vats to highlight the natural fruitiness of the grape variety. Initially restrained, it then reveals subtle woody notes with hints of fresh coconut.
