“All the spirit of Bonifacio in a single vintage!”

"A new vintage featuring a blend dominated by Sciacarellu, complemented by Niellucciu, Minustellu, and Carcaghjolu Neru. Deep carmine in color, it reveals delicate floral aromas with a hint of smokiness and understated aging. On the palate, it offers a refined, concentrated, and very pure wine, marked by wild raspberries and the much-appreciated silky texture of the tannins. Easy to drink, pure, and balanced, this is a bottle that should age well over the next five years.” (Le Guide RVF 2025)

Wine rated (2025 guide) 94/100

Rated estate (2025 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Christian Zuria, a citrus grower, has transitioned from clementines to Bonifacio wine. With the planting of the incredible Spinella plot—on a vast and fascinating terroir—the Zuria family now owns an elite vineyard (3.5 hectares). The first wines from the Stintinu (limestone and granite in complementary bands) and Musella plots demonstrate the power of the terroir. The estate has brought in Burgundian Jean-Pierre Confuron as a consultant, which will undoubtedly allow the red wines to continue improving. The white wines rival those of Tarra di Sogno.

About wine:

A new vintage featuring a blend dominated by Sciacarellu, complemented by Niellucciu, Minustellu, and Carcaghjolu Neru. Deep, rich crimson in color, it reveals delicate floral aromas with a hint of smokiness and understated aging. On the palate, it offers a refined, concentrated, and very pure wine, marked by wild raspberries and the much-appreciated silky mouthfeel of the tannins. Easy to drink, pure, and balanced, this is a bottle that should age well over the next five years.

About the estate:

Christian Zuria began planting vines in the historic Santa Manza area in 2013. With the help of his wife Nadine and his son Yvan, he has accomplished a monumental task. Building on its commitment to meticulous viticulture, this young estate continues to grow, with a spectacular winery at the foot of the vineyards and a tasting room on the outskirts of Bonifacio set to open in 2021. Vermentino and Sciaccarellu are exceptionally well-suited to this unique limestone terroir overlooking the city. They also feature in the Aria range, made from purchased grapes: accessible wines with a lighter style than those of the estate.
