About the estate:

An oenologist involved in the revival and promotion of island wines, Yves Leccia founded his own estate in 2005, after managing the family business with his sister for about fifteen years. Today, together with his wife Sandrine, he runs a 16-hectare vineyard on clay-limestone and schist soils in Poggio-d’Oletta. Certified organic since 2017, it is one of the pillars of the Patrimonio appellation and is also frequently recognized for its Muscat wines.

About the wine:

About the estate:

Yves Leccia and Sandrine, his partner, run a vineyard located primarily on the E Croce and Partinelone plots. The entire vineyard is tilled and cultivated, and only organic fertilizers are used. The estate has been highly innovative in recent years, introducing new wines such as O Bà, Biancu Marinu, and L'Altru Biancu. These meticulously crafted wines remain fine ambassadors for Corsican viticulture, but care must be taken not to overshadow their individuality: some wines, more standardized than in the past, place too much emphasis on technical precision.

An alluring, smooth, and flavorful red wine. On the nose, it offers notes of black cherries, Mediterranean herbs, and stone. Medium-bodied, with fine-grained tannins. It is textured and well-structured. Supple and balanced, with a more stony character and a delicious, peppery finish. Made from organically grown grapes. Enjoy now or celller.
