Notes: Guia Penin 93/100, Robert Parker 92/100
"For the 2009 Pujanza, 70% of the Tempranillo grapes come from Valdepoleo. The nose is well defined, rich in mineral notes, plum and raspberry, which balance the woodiness well. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine tannins on entry. This is not a powerful 2009, but it offers the breed and tension one would expect, especially on the finish, which is taut and has a hint of white pepper. A little young, it will need another year to mellow in the bottle." (Wine Advocate - Robert Parker August 2012)
