A decent wine, but still a little young for my taste. It probably deserves to be cellared for another two years. Compared to a Castano Monatrell, it falls a bit short. One to watch, then.

This wine isn't easy to appreciate, as it's heavy and sorely lacks finesse, with spices dominating the flavor. By the fourth bottle, I finally managed to appreciate it by decanting it more than four hours before tasting. It’s much better that way, with a long finish, but it’s still massive—and too oaky. It’s the kind of wine Mr. Parker loves!

Excellent! But be sure to serve it at a temperature no higher than 15° Otherwise, this wine’s alcohol content will interfere with the tasting experience. Just a friendly reminder for those who have the bad habit of letting their wine reach room temperature!

At this point, I found this wine to be very average, and I don't understand either its rating or the tasting notes!!! And it's not a bad bottle—it's strong, it's dry, it's just so-so.

A smooth wine—I’d call it modern—that’s as pleasant on the nose as it is on the palate, best enjoyed young with duck pâté with raspberries.
