Notes: Robert Parker 91/100
"A wonderful bargain!" (Robert Parker). This 100% Mourvèdre is impressively fruity, with explosive fresh aromas and beautiful tension. The acidity is perfect, balancing the wine and accompanying the very pleasant tannins that are the hallmark of this winery. A delicious wine that is a real pleasure on the palate!

A magnificent Mourvèdre to drink while young. Note: does not age as well as its cousin from Bandol.

A heavy, powerful wine that should be decanted for an hour.

A decent wine, but still a little young for my taste. It would probably benefit from another two years of aging. In comparison, it falls somewhat short of a Castano Monatrell. To be continued, then.

Note and opinion by Mr. PIERRE AXEL S. Published on December 4, 2013
This wine is not easy to appreciate, as it is heavy and sorely lacking in finesse, dominated by spices. After the fourth bottle, I managed to appreciate it by decanting it more than four hours before tasting it. It is much better, with a long finish, but it remains heavy and overly oaky. This is the style of wine that Mr. Parker loves!

Excellent value for money. Concentrated, fruity, mineral. I have never been disappointed by the wines from this winery.

Excellent! But drink at a temperature not exceeding 15°C. Otherwise, the alcohol content of this wine will spoil the tasting experience. Just a friendly reminder for those who have the bad habit of letting their wine "breathe"!

A truly amazing wine. Very fruity, round, a little strong in alcohol but well structured, and less than 10 euros. A real treat!

At this stage, I found this wine very average and I don't understand either its rating or the tasting notes!!! And it's not a faulty bottle, it's strong, it's raw, it's so-so.

A supple wine, I would say modern, pleasant on the nose as well as on the palate, to be drunk young with duck pâté and raspberries.
