Senorio de Barahonda Winery
Bodega Senorio de Barahonda was founded in 1925 by Pedro Candela, a family estate now run by two brothers, Antonio and Alfredo Candela. Within the DO Yecla, the bodega has always been renowned for the elegance of its work with grape varieties such as Mourvèdre. It is one of the only bodegas in the world capable of producing six wines rated above 90 by Robert Parker in the same year, while maintaining prices that are very accessible to the general public.

The Bodega Senorio de Barahonda vineyard covers some 545 hectares of vines in the DO Yecla, masterfully managed by the brilliant oenologist Araceli González, a pioneer in the Yecla region, whose winemaking techniques produce very distinctive wines, in a style that is modern, fresh and lively, combining in perfect harmony with a certain classic note that is very appealing. Great DO Yecla wines to discover.
