Cantina Scagliola - Sansi 2004

Cantina Scagliola - Sansi 2004

"Sansi" refers to San Siro in the Piedmontese dialect, named after the location of the estate's winery. This cuvée reflects a commitment to producing a premium wine. In Italy, the first attempts of this kind are known as "cavallo di battagli": the steed on which one sets out, hence the label. Sansi 2004 is a wine rich in aromas, with notes of ripe fruit, cocoa, and spices (vanilla), offering a lovely aromatic persistence on the finish. A truly beautiful bottle!
