"A delicious Soave, with sublime freshness that beautifully reflects its terroir—one of our best-selling Italian wines!"
"An elegant and sophisticated wine with toasty and mineral aromas, accompanied by notes of lemon zest, orange, quince, and fern. Medium-bodied yet powerful, with lively acidity that balances its strength. A long, silky finish with notes of toast and white chocolate. Exceptional. Drink now or cellar." (James Suckling 2025)

About the wine:
Celebrating its 45th anniversary (1978–2023), the Pieropan 2023 Soave Classico La Rocca shines with a golden intensity and offers a captivating bouquet that draws both from the character of the Garganega grape and careful aging in oak barrels. This 100% Garganega is aged for 15 months in 500-liter French and Slavonian oak barrels. The varietal aromas include notes of stone fruit, candied lemon, and crushed oyster shell. Woody nuances of nutmeg and saffron add structure and depth. La Rocca is a five-hectare estate with limestone soils that produced 45,000 bottles. The Pieropan family knows their stuff. Happy anniversary. 2025–2036
