“‘An Arbois of rare intensity, which unfolds majestically on the palate, rich in flavor (Parmesan…) and panache—truly quintessentially Arbois!’ (RVF)”
“The 2017 Vin Jaune d’Arbois is a delight. Pronounced notes of walnuts, toasted almonds, dried lemon zest, and a hint of bread crust take center stage. Despite its full-bodied richness and concentration, the 2017 is beautifully balanced by a crisp acidity, with a finish of elegant finesse and a slightly salty note.” (Vinous 2025)

About the wine:
Light yellow in color, this voile wine has a brilliant appearance. Once opened, the nose is very fresh. Classically styled, the palate is well-balanced, with a delicate acidity and a hint of minerality that provide a nice backbone. It is a subtle yet very refined wine.

About the wine:
An Arbois of rare intensity, which unfolds majestically on the palate, rich in flavor (Parmesan, etc.) and character—truly quintessentially Arbois!
About the estate:
This historic estate in Passenans was given a new lease on life when Emmanuel Grand and his partner Nathalie—the daughter of winemakers from Arbois—took it over in 2015, significantly reducing the vineyard’s size and deciding to convert it to organic farming. The results were quick to follow, and the range—which encompasses all the specialties of the Jura—continues to improve each year. “I like to master things in order to understand them,” asserts the meticulous Emmanuel Grand: his philosophy is perfectly reflected in wines that are crisp, vibrant, delicious, and full of character. The future belongs to them.
