Wine rated (2026 guide) 92/100

Rated estate (2026 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About wine:

The original white Les Mûriers is intended for gastronomy. 2024 is the best vintage we have tasted recently.

About the estate:

This estate in Valflaunès, located in the shadow of the impressive Pic Saint-Loup, was one of the pioneers of the quality revival in Languedoc. Xavier, the new generation of the Bruguière family, is exploring biodynamics and achieving results in fresh, structured, and delicious reds. The original white Les Mûriers is intended for gastronomy. The estate made the courageous decision to sell part of its vineyards in order to refocus on the historic family lands between Pic Saint-Loup and the Hortus massif. We love the sense of balance in its reds and its Les Mûriers white.

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated estate (2025 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly recognized by the guide)

About the estate:

Mas Bruguière is accessed via a stunning road winding between the cliffs of Hortus and Pic Saint-Loup. After taking over from his father Guilhem in 1999, Xavier Bruguière (seventh generation) converted the family estate and its 11 hectares of vines to organic farming.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 90/100

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good-quality wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

The tart fruit of the Rolle and the bitterness of the Roussanne melt into Les Mûriers, a refreshing white wine with the generosity of Languedoc in the mid-palate.

About the estate:

This historic 12-hectare estate spans two areas: Rocher de la Bergère, directly below the Hortus cliff, and La Plaine, a north-facing terroir below Pic Saint-Loup. Xavier Bruguière represents the seventh generation at the helm of the estate. The vines are very well maintained, and the wines are open and elegant, without compromising on aging potential.
