Rated estate (2026 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Domaine Christophe Peyrus, founded by the owner of Clos Marie along with some friends, is now managed by Dorian Rebattel on behalf of Jean-Pierre Girard, who purchased it in 2019. Located in Cazevieille, near Pic Saint-Loup, the eight hectares of vines that make up the vineyard grow on limestone and flint soil and on dolomitic springs.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Rising stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a good standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the wine:

Tourbat, a grape variety native to Catalonia and Sardinia, is the dominant component of this white wine, which is silky and velvety with a beautifully clean finish.

About the estate:

The estate reached a turning point in 2019 when Jean-Pierre Girard purchased the vineyard from Christophe Peyrus, immediately renaming it Clos des Reboussiers. The philosophy remains the same, with the talented Dorian Rebattel at the helm. Perched high up and ideally situated near the Pic, the estate spans 8.5 hectares on unique soils composed of flint-rich limestone and dolomitic springs. The range tasted this year—complex and well-balanced—once again confirms its star status.
