Clos de l'Anhel
Sophie Guiraudon, an oenologist, settled on these lands in the Corbières region in 2000 after working at other wineries. The Clos de l'Anhel vineyard spans 12 hectares, situated at the foot of the Alaric, on limestone hillsides rising to 300 meters and surrounded by thriving biodiversity. From the outset, Sophie Guiraudon turned to organic farming, using liquid manure and herbal infusions. She planted 200 trees and installed nesting boxes for chickadees and bats (major insect predators).

In the cellar, the focus is above all on the quality of the grapes in order to intervene as little as possible in the subsequent winemaking process for the Clos de l'Anhel wines. In short, these are vibrant, honest wines, deeply rooted in their terroir, expressing themselves as freely as possible under the winemaker’s benevolent guidance.
