Château La Bastide

Château La Bastide, located in the northern part of the Corbières appellation, is currently managed by Nan Ping GAO. He is particularly committed to enhancing the quality of the wines and improving the vineyards through extensive replanting. Nestled in a lush setting with maritime flora, the imposing Château La Bastide—which was already marked on topographical maps dating back to 1770 and has been remodeled several times—now offers a unique charm.

The Château La Bastideestate covers 180 hectares of Quaternary clay-limestone terraces with large, rounded pebbles of alluvial origin. Always committed to the quality of the grapes and respect for the environment, a sustainable viticulture approach that promotes soil health and the expression of the terroir (organic fertilizers, soil cultivation) has been in place for the past six years. Pest control measures are carefully considered based on disease risks and weather conditions. A dedicated team works toward a single goal: winemaking excellence.
