Château La Bastide

Château La Bastide, located in the northern part of the Corbières appellation, is currently managed by Nan Ping GAO. He is particularly focused on enhancing the quality of the wines and improving the vineyards through extensive replanting. Nestled in a lush setting with maritime flora, the imposing Château La Bastide—already noted on topographical maps dating back to 1770 and renovated several times—now offers a unique character.

The Château La Bastideestate covers 180 ha of Quaternary clay-limestone terraces with large, rounded pebbles of alluvial origin. Always committed to grape quality and environmental stewardship, the estate has adopted a sustainable viticulture approach for the past six years that promotes soil health and the expression of the terroir (organic fertilizers, soil cultivation). Pest control measures are carefully considered based on disease risks and weather conditions. A dedicated team works toward a single goal: wine excellence.
