Château La Bastide

Château La Bastide, located in the northern part of the Corbières appellation, is currently managed by Nan Ping GAO. He is particularly committed to enhancing the quality of the wines and improving the vineyards through extensive replanting. Nestled in a lush setting with maritime flora, the imposing Château La Bastide—already noted on topographical maps from 1770 and renovated several times—now offers a unique character.

The Château La Bastideestate covers 180 hectares on Quaternary clay-limestone terraces with large, rounded pebbles of alluvial origin. Always mindful of grape quality and environmental stewardship, a sustainable viticulture approach that promotes soil health and the expression of the terroir (organic fertilizers, soil cultivation) has been adopted for the past six years. Phytosanitary treatments are carefully considered based on disease and climate risks. A dedicated team works toward a single goal: the excellence of the wine.
