Château La Bastide

Château La Bastide, located in the northern part of the Corbières appellation, is now run by Nan Ping GAO. He is particularly committed to developing the quality of the wines and improving the vineyards, with a very high rate of replanting. Nestled in a green setting with maritime essences, the imposing Château La Bastide, already noted on topographical surveys dating back to 1770, has been renovated several times and now offers a unique character.

The Château La Bastideestate covers 180 hectares of Quaternary clay-limestone terraces with large rounded pebbles of alluvial origin. Always concerned about the quality of the grapes and respect for the environment, a sustainable farming method that promotes soil life and the expression of the terroir (organic fertilizers, tillage) has been adopted for the past six years. Phytosanitary treatments are constantly reviewed in light of disease and climate risks. A motivated team works toward a common goal: wine excellence.
