Domaine noté (guide 2018) Sélectionné (We remind you that this guide is a prize list and that, as such, all the estates that appear in it, even without a star, represent, in our eyes, the excellence of French production).

About the domain :

Situated to the north of the Pic Saint-Loup cru, this estate consists of a large parcel of southwest-facing hillside on limestone scree, planted mainly with Grenache and Syrah. This is the Foulaquier terroir proper, which is joined on the estate by the siltier north-east-facing Tonillières terroir. This adventure, which began in 1998, is led by the couple Pierre Jequier, a former architect, and Blandine Chauchat, a former parliamentary official. These passionate winegrowers have restructured the estate, whose origins go back a long way, moving it towards organic and then biodynamic farming certification. After a few minor adjustments, they now offer a renewed range of healthy, tasty and fragrant wines, most of which are matured in a reducing environment.
