About the estate:

Liz Williamson is from New Zealand and Robin is English. In 2004, they chose the Jurassic limestone and flint soil of the Murviel-lès-Montpellier hills—a site near Roman ruins offering a stunning view of the Mediterranean—to establish their estate: 13 hectares cultivated using organic farming methods.

Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

Robin Williamson is English, and Liz is from New Zealand. In 2004, they found this vineyard in the Grès de Montpellier region to start their new life as winemakers. The estate quickly earned organic certification, and the diversity of its wines—sparkling, white, and red—is truly delightful! They have expanded the estate’s acreage from 6.5 hectares when they first settled here to 14 hectares today. We are delighted to welcome them here.
