About the estate:
This estate was the pride of Faugères in the 1990s, before being taken over by Julien Seydoux, who arrived here with the humility to learn about the terroir and the desire to bring Les Estanilles back to the forefront. The aging process is gradually adapting to the wines’ characteristics and still has room to improve. The reds are powerful and full of flavor; they are wines with strong personalities.

About the wine:
As is often the case, this estate never fails to make an impression, and this cuvée—which was Favorite its 2010 vintage—is no exception. The 2015 impresses with its deep color, its brilliantly complex nose (candied black fruits, cherries in alcohol, cocoa, vanilla, caramel), and its equally expressive palate (ripe black fruits, thyme, mint)—round, concentrated, and powerful, supported by firm yet fine-grained tannins.
About the estate:
In 2009, the self-taught Julien Seydoux purchased this 44-hectare estate, which is farmed organically and produces wines that are often remarkable. A sure bet.
