If one had to sum up the history of Domaine Les Jamelles in a few words, the phrase “The fruit of wonderful encounters” would come to mind naturally… The story of these wines has been marked by a series of encounters—some more serendipitous than others—that led to the creation of the brand in the early 1990s and its growth over the past two decades.

Catherine and her husband Laurent Delaunay, young winemakers, envisioned a range of enjoyable, rich, and aromatic wines that would appeal to all wine lovers, whether novices or connoisseurs. This range would be named Les Jamelles: a feminine name to evoke the roundness of our wines, plural to reflect the diversity of grape varieties, and melodious to recall its Languedoc origins.

After more than 25 years exploring the vineyards of Languedoc, Catherine and her team have successfully mastered this unparalleled diversity of terroirs and selected those that allow for the best expression of each of the 26 grape varieties in the range. The wines thus come primarily from some fifteen terroirs spread throughout the Languedoc-Roussillon region, with a focus on the departments of Aude and Hérault. With a portfolio of over 30 cuvées, distributed across 45 countries, Les Jamelles has become a leading name in high-quality French varietal wines.
