Set in an exceptional terroir around the village of Magrie in the Upper Aude Valley (between Limoux and Roquetaillade), the Métairie d'Alon Estate is a property acquired by Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, originally from Burgundy, who invested in the Languedoc vineyards through Abbotts & Delaunay. With the Métairie Estate They aim to showcase the two great grape varieties, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, in the South of France.

TheDomaine de la Métairie d'Alon spans 25 hectares of vineyards divided into 25 elevated plots across 11 lieux-dits near Limoux. With respect for the surrounding natural environment, the vineyard is cultivated using organic farming methods on this cool terroir in the Haut-Languedoc, with clay-limestone soils that allow the two grape varieties to fully express their characteristic aromas. The wines of La Métairie d’Alon are crafted using a plot-by-plot approach, drawing on Burgundian winemaking techniques to produce great wines with a distinct identity. A wonderful point of distinction in the Languedoc region.
