On exceptional terroir around the village of Magrie in the Upper Aude Valley (between Limoux and Roquetaillade), the Alon Farm Estate is a property acquired by Catherine and Laurent Delaunay, originally from Burgundy, who invested in the Languedoc vineyard with Maison Abbotts & Delaunay. With the Métairie Estate They aim to promote the two great grape varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the South of France.

TheDomaine de la Métairie d'Alon covers 25 hectares of vineyards divided into 25 plots at altitude, across 11 localities near Limoux. In keeping with the surrounding environment, the vineyard is farmed organically on this cool terroir in the Haut Languedoc region, with clay-limestone soils that allow the two grape varieties to express their characteristic aromas to the full. The wines of La Métairie d'Alon are produced using a plot-by-plot approach, with the experience of Burgundian winemaking techniques enabling the production of great wines with a distinct identity. A beautiful specificity in the Languedoc region.
